Abstract

On the theme of the culture and the body, we will give the audience the multiple-angled discussion through the viewpoints of various academic fields: Philosophy, Cultural Anthropology, Psychology, and History Science. Some of the topics will be: the inquiry into the relationships between the culture and body in the modern era through the analysis of the historical discourse on the body, the brain, and the heart in the field of Latin American Sports, and the inquiry into the relationships of the culture and the body through the analysis of the interactions of the elements represented through the verbal expressions and the one that cannot separated from the movements of the body and cannot be expressed by the language which is problematized sharply in the field of inter-cultural mutual understanding. The presentation of this seminar will be given in Spanish.
