Since Chile is one of the best countries for power generations by sunlight and wind in the world, their effictive utilizations have been examined aggressively. Researches on the renewable energy and related technologies are quite active in both Chile and Japan and the latter is aiming overseas development of those technologies. Latest various researches on the renewable energy and related technologies will be shown by five and three speakers from Chile and Japan, respectively, in this seminar, providing chances to discuss R & D and introduction of technologies for future application of the renewable energies. In addition, some specific collaborations are expected to arise from this seminar.
