Research Physicists working at Pontificia Universidad Católica (U.Católica), Chile and University of Tokyo, Japan, are pleased to jointly organize together a workshop in Condensed Matter Physics entitled “Frontiers in Nano-Scale Physics”. It should provide a unique opportunity for academic exchange between several Chilean Universities and the University of Tokyo. It is a fact that global technological development relies on vigorous research in experimental condensed matter and especially now in nano-science and materials, research areas in which both Chile community and university of Tokyo are active. The purpose of this workshop is to gather researchers working in Chile with Japanese partners to catalyze future collaborations and to give more momentum to this rapidly growing research area.
